 Insurance for eye exams can be hard to find and expensive. Some are able to pay for the costs with their HSA

but that is not an option for everyone, especially seniors.

Here is a great program to help senior citizens who don't have insurance to get a free eye exam. It is called EyeCare America

Recently Missouri voters had a chance to let their state know what they thought about the health care reform law that President Obama recently signed into law.  According to www.online.wsj.com

"Voters in Missouri overwhelmingly opposed requiring people to buy health insurance

, in a largely symbolic slap at the Obama administration's health overhaul."

"With all precincts reporting, 71% of voters supported Proposition C, establishing a state law that says Missouri cannot compel people to pay a penalty or fine if they fail to carry health coverage. Twenty-nine percent voted against the proposition."

The same article also reported that nationally the Obama health care reform is not keeping high numbers in a recent poll: "A June Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll found that 44% think Mr. Obama's health-care plan is a bad idea, while 40% called it a good idea."

dental implants are a better choice than dentures. Experts agree that dental implants are much more comfortable than dentures, can last a lifetime and will "also will help protect your bones over time."

Unfortunately, a lot of people do not have flood insurance. When water damage happens to one's house due to a flood, they are often left with a mess and no help from the insurance company. But, it is still important to contact your insurance company if you sustain water damage because sometimes you may have coverage for water damage depending on the situation.

According to the Associated Press, "Democratic state  Assemblyman Dave Jones, who is running for state insurance commissioner in the November election, said some of the same practices being corrected by the recently enacted federal health care overhaul are used by pet insurance companies

, including denying coverage based on pre-existing conditions."

"Jones has introduced a bill that would make pet insurers post detailed information on their websites so consumers can see exactly what is covered and what is not
